Applications of disinfection related to residential areas

As we all know, formaldehyde is one of the major sources of indoor air pollution, usually hidden in the adhesives of paints, engineered wood, decoration materials, and furniture; however, few people know that formaldehyde has a boiling point of only -19.5 degrees Celsius, which means that in Taiwan, formaldehyde can be released in gas form from decoration materials and furniture around us 24 hours a day, throughout the year.

UV-C light, in addition to the standard 254nm wavelength, also has a 185nm wavelength that can produce ozone. Using ozone to remove formaldehyde is a good method. If you want to completely eliminate formaldehyde and make your home a true warm harbor, experts suggest using negative oxygen ions to remove formaldehyde when people are present, and using ozone to remove formaldehyde when the room is unoccupied. The combination of both methods can greatly reduce the problem of excessive formaldehyde levels and protect health, making it one of the best methods for removing formaldehyde.
